Free People Henley Top

This is an outfit I could easily live in. The only thing holding me back is the fact that I have a toddler and well... toddlers and white = stains. Actually, who am I joking, I probably spill just as much as she does. 

I like the option of knotting this shirt, so that it shows off the details of the shorts (I also didn't want it to look like I'm not wearing anything under it. Haha). Sizing wise because of the oversize style I decided to get an XS, that way it wouldn't overwhelm me.

The cut of these shorts are flattering. They are slightly longer in the inner thigh and have a slit on the outer. Since they are 100% cotton (no stretch) the slit allows room to move. I am either a size 26 or 27 and went with a 27 in these shorts.

Warning, when I first wore these they left a white residue on the top of my feet. The cut on these sandals are fun so that's okay. ;) These run pretty small, in my opinion. I'm typically either an 8.5 or a 9, and I ended up having to reorder them in a size 9.5! 

Because of how light my entire outfit is, I needed to add a little pop of color. These Sugarfix by Baublebar statement earrings, are one of my favorites, and apparently they are no longer available. I'm so sad! I will link similar earrings that I like below. However, you can easily wear a short necklace and some bracelets if you pair this top with a different color wash of shorts, and shoe option. 

Free People Henley top - wearing XS (I sized down). Comes in multiple colors.
Abercrombie and Fitch shorts - wearing size 27 (if in between sizes, size up). Comes in multiple washes but I've noticed that each wash fits differently, so I would order multiple sizes and return what didn't work.
Steve Madden Sandals - wearing 9.5 (go up 1/2 to 1 whole size). Comes in multiple colors.
